Daisy Flowers Blue Bonnet Oil Painting  – Original Floral Impasto Art by Olga Nikitina

Bring the beauty of a blooming garden into your home with this vibrant original oil painting by Olga Nikitina. Featuring a lush arrangement of pink, peach, and creamy white flowers surrounded by brilliant blue blossoms, this expressive floral artwork celebrates the richness of nature through bold colour, texture, and movement.

The composition combines delicate pastel petals with intense cobalt and turquoise blues, creating a striking contrast that immediately draws the eye. Fresh green leaves weave between the flowers, while the light blue background evokes an airy, luminous atmosphere. The result is a joyful and contemporary interpretation of a flower garden, full of energy, warmth, and natural beauty.

Expressive Impasto and Palette Knife Technique

Created using the impasto technique, this painting features thick layers of oil paint applied with a palette knife. The sculptural texture gives the petals and leaves a three-dimensional quality, allowing individual strokes to stand out across the canvas. Rather than focusing on precise botanical detail, Olga captures the essence of flowers through expressive shapes, spontaneous marks, and vibrant colour combinations.

The rich blue flowers provide depth and intensity, while the soft pink and peach blossoms introduce warmth and romantic charm. Contrasting shades of turquoise, green, and pale blue bring freshness and movement to the composition. The interplay of raised paint and energetic strokes makes the artwork visually engaging from different angles and gives it a distinctive contemporary character.
